Supergiant Games reduced the price of Hades II on Steam in Poland from 139 zlotys to 117 zlotys, approximately by five dollars. The company did this in response to numerous requests from players in Poland who have been complaining about excessively high regional prices in Valve's digital store in recent months.

The reason for players' dissatisfaction with Hades II stemmed from the fact that the initial price of the roguelite in Poland was one of the highest in the world. The game was being sold for almost 35 dollars, which is more expensive than its original cost in the US — 30 dollars. The only country with a higher price for Hades II was Switzerland, where it is sold for $37.

After reducing the price of Hades II, Supergiant Games refunded the price difference to Polish buyers, which was 22 zlotys. Polish players widely thanked the studio for this. Many wrote that they immediately purchased the game after this gesture, although some had planned to do so after the full release.

On May 10th, Supergiant Games also reduced the price of Hades II on Steam in Ukraine from 600 to 460 hryvnias (reduced the cost by $3.5). In this case, buyers were also automatically refunded the price difference. There were no changes in other regions.
