Sony is reportedly planning to announce a remaster of the zombie action game Days Gone, as hinted by journalist Jordan Miller. This hint came the day after Jeff Grubb mentioned Sony's plans to reveal another game remaster, in addition to Horizon Zero Dawn.

Earlier in September, Days Gone creative director, John Garvin, reacted strongly to the appearance of the game's protagonist, Deacon, in the platformer Astro Bot. On September 19, Miller commented that the next announcement would drive Garvin crazy, implying a remaster of Days Gone.

One social media user on X (formerly Twitter) expressed doubt that Sony would invest in remastering Days Gone. In response, Miller strongly hinted that such a remaster is indeed in the works.

It's possible that the remaster will be an enhanced version of Days Gone for PS5, featuring improved resolution and frame rates. However, no specific details about the remaster have been revealed yet.

According to Jeff Grubb, Sony is expected to hold a State of Play presentation on September 24, although the company has not officially confirmed the event.
