While the first big hype wave around Deadlock is arguably gone, the game still has more than 100,000 concurrent players daily. At the same time developers keep working hard on the game. One of Valve's employees, known by the nickname Yoshi, shared some insights on the development of Deadlock. He responded to fan questions about the title on a Discord channel.
Valve developer announced that most of the characters added to Deadlock would undergo significant reworking. It is interesting, as we don't know if changes will come to the skill set of heroes, their appearance, or both.
Additionally, it was revealed that a dedicated anti-cheat system is being prepared for the game. As many of you still remember what Valve time means, it is unknown when anti-cheat will appear in the game.
Deadlock is the newest title from Valve. It is the third-person shooter with MOBA elements. The game is still in the invite-only mode, but it is not that hard to gain access to the game. Valve warns that many aspects of the game are subject to change.
