The esports organization Nouns has announced the signing of a Deadlock team. This is the first club in the world to officially announce the addition of a roster playing in the new game from Valve.

The Nouns Deadlock roster consists of five American players and one player from Puerto Rico. None of them have previously competed at a high level in other games. It can be said that the club made this move for the hype and the sake of being the first, but it is worth mentioning several other organizations are also circling around potential players in hopes of securing a dominant roster at a lower cost.

Currently, Valve is not hosting any competitions for Deadlock; however, small tournaments for the shooter are being organized by third-party companies. Currently, there is no sign of big esports potential, but much will depend on the community and viewers.

Deadlock from Valve is currently in closed testing. On August 24, the developers officially added the title to Steam and allowed streaming and the release of materials related to the game. When the full release of the game will occur or when it will transition to open beta testing is still unknown. Looks like it won't happen any time soon.
