A major scandal recently erupted - Movie Games (DDS) accused TVGS (Schedule 1) of blatant plagiarism, launched an investigation involving international lawyers, and is preparing a lawsuit.

Given the huge fanbase of TVGS's game, the situation was bound to escalate.The response to such a brazen provocation was decided in a tried-and-true way - by tanking the ratings of both Movie Games titles.

As a result, Drug Dealer Simulator, which recently had 82% positive recent reviews on Steam, now sits at just 14% positive. The second installment fared slightly better - its recent review rating dropped from 63% to 21%. Meanwhile, the Steam discussions for these games have turned into a battleground, with Movie Games being accused of attacking a smaller studio simply because it achieved greater success with a similar concept.

Nevertheless, the plagiarism investigation is still ongoing, meaning this story will have at least one, if not two more chapters: the investigation results and potential further legal proceedings with subsequent settlement of claims.
