Sony and the Firewalk studio have released a gameplay trailer for the team-based shooter Concord. The video was dedicated to the start of the game's beta testing. It showcased battles on arenas and the abilities of several characters.

The first phase of beta testing will take place from July 12 to 14. Those who pre-ordered the shooter will be able to participate. These players will have the opportunity to invite up to four friends to join the beta.

On July 11, Sony also announced that PS Plus subscribers could participate in the early testing of Concord. Previously, this phase was planned to be limited to pre-order holders only. During the second phase of testing, from July 18 to 21, anyone interested will be able to try out Concord.

The trailer garnered over 1,500 dislikes and 680 likes on YouTube, according to the Return YouTube Dislike extension. Some commentators wrote that Concord looks like a lackluster attempt to copy Overwatch 2. Previous trailers for the shooter also received numerous negative reviews online.

Concord's release is scheduled for August 23, 2024, on PC and PS5. The game will be priced at $40. On PC, the shooter will not be available for purchase in 180 regions without the ability to create a PSN account, which will be required to play.
