Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio is bombarding fans with exciting news. Not long ago, the studio, together with SEGA, announced Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, but they didn't stop there and dropped several videos. Following a five-minute gameplay showcase, a short combat trailer was released. The video lasts almost a minute and a half, giving players a clear look at what to expect from two distinct fighting styles.

The first style is "Mad Dog". In this case, Goro Majima fights using punches, kicks, throws, and even creates shadow clones to assist in battle. The "Sea Dog" style, on the other hand, focuses on the use of sharp sabers. Both styles are visually spectacular with plenty of flashy effects, and players can seamlessly switch between them in the heat of combat.

Fans in the comments joked that Goro fights and moves like he's much younger than his age. They also appreciated the long combo chains, while some were particularly drawn to the pirate theme. One player humorously remarked that in the future, Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio might release Like a Dragon set in space.

Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii is set to release on February 28, 2025, for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.
