BioWare has revealed different settings that will be available to players in Dragon Age: The Veilguard. For instance, there will be five difficulty levels:

  • Storyteller – for those who are only interested in the narrative.
  • Keeper – a difficulty with balanced battles where the focus is on party composition and equipment rather than reaction time in combat.
  • Adventurer – you'll need skills in both party management and combat.
  • Underdog – a high-stakes experience with a challenging difficulty
  • Nightmare - an extra hard difficulty for hardcore players. You can't lower the difficulty after the game has started.

There is also an option called Unbound – the ability to customize various gameplay aspects independently. If we speak about other customizable options, you\lll be able to tweak the timing for parrying, aim assistance, and enemy aggression.

The interface also offers deep customization: users can adjust icon and font sizes and hide certain elements. Accessibility features for the interface include subtitles and their color, sound cues, and color filters to enhance visibility for players with visual impairments.

As for controls, players can fully remap buttons on gamepads as well as on the keyboard and mouse. They can also adjust camera shake, depth of field, and other parameters.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard has gone gold and is set to be released on October 31 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series.
