The procedurally generated detective simulator has introduced a whole set of new features focused on leisure and procrastination:
Now detectives can light up a cigarette or cigar when an investigation becomes too exhausting. Bars have gained a fantasy card mini-game called Wizcards with turn-based mechanics and an AI opponent. The city has been enriched with a mysterious side quest about shoe theft.
Technical changes now show the player on street surveillance cameras, allow manual password setting on terminals (cruncher), and add new interactive objects ranging from violins and saxophones to tennis rackets, bao buns, and Yorkshire puddings. As usual, the update includes bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements.
Two more major updates are planned for 2025:
- In August, developers will add modifiers that change the world and AI behavior
- In December, the game will receive Steam Workshop support and modding tools
