Today, Netflix became one of the biggest newsmakers in the entertainment world. The company released a major trailer showcasing all the projects set to premiere in 2025, including the final season of Squid Game.
While the trailer primarily focused on live-action series and films, that’s not all it revealed. We now have an official premiere date for the Devil May Cry animated series—April 3. Netflix is once again collaborating with Studio Mir, which has experience adapting video games into animation. Their previous work includes Dota: Dragon’s Blood, and in just two weeks, on February 11, we’ll also see the premiere of The Witcher: Sirens of The Deep.
The Devil May Cry anime also has Castlevania producer Adi Shankar on board, along with key Capcom staff who worked on the original games. That’s an encouraging sign for fans hoping for a faithful adaptation. More and more, the film and TV industry is looking to video games for stories, and honestly, that’s great news.
