The page for Valve's team-based PvP shooter Deadlock has appeared in the Steam database. Reddit users noticed this development.

According to the information on the page, a closed testing of the game is currently underway. At the time of writing, Deadlock had 345 players online. The maximum number of concurrent players in a day was 722. Previously, blogger Tyler McVicker reported that "several hundred" people, including some bloggers, had access to the alpha version of Deadlock.

Judging by the Deadlock page in the Steam database, the game is regularly receiving updates.

Numerous leaks about Deadlock appeared in May 2024. Apparently, Valve is not combating these leaks, as gameplay videos are still available for viewing on YouTube and social networks.

Valve will be one of the participants in the Summer Game Fest 2024, which begins on June 7. There is speculation online that the company might announce Deadlock at this event. Valve has not made any comments about the game.
